The Brief

The Partner group at an independent insolvency business with offices in four separate UK locations approached Ambition to assist in appointing an Insolvency Practitioner for their London office to help continue with the firm’s turnover growth and client diversification.

Our client was looking to bring in an established IP with an existing fee following and the potential to generate formal corporate casework from a new pool of contacts in the insolvency mid-market space.

Ambition’s Solution

Following a meeting with the client to establish the exact criteria of the search, we were engaged to conduct a thorough market map with the view to headhunting candidates that held an appointment taking licence, had a track record of generating fees over £350,000 and a referral contact base that complemented and diversified from the existing work sources of the client.

The Outcome

Once a long list of potential associates had been identified, contacted and subsequently met with to determine suitability to the role, we presented the best fit associate to the client.

Following a three-stage process that included two separate interviews with the Partner group and a final business plan presentation, an offer was made to the associate who accepted the position.
