At Ambition, we’re passionate about building better futures — not just for our candidates and clients, but also for the next generation preparing to enter the workforce.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Year 10 students from Haverstock School to our offices for a full day of engaging, hands-on workshops exploring careers in recruitment.

Throughout the visit, the students took part in sessions that introduced them to the recruitment industry, the day-to-day responsibilities of a recruiter, and the types of roles we typically hire for at Ambition.

Our amazing colleagues — Chris, Tasnima, Claudine, and Ummara generously shared their personal career journeys, along with the advice they’d give to their younger selves. Their stories demonstrated that success can be achieved through many different paths.

To give the students a taste of real-life recruitment, we ran a practical activity where they reviewed CVs against a job description and pitched their chosen candidate to Matthew and Julia. It was a fun, insightful way to bring the recruiter experience to life — and the students approached the challenge with impressive enthusiasm and thoughtfulness.

We were truly inspired by their energy, curiosity, and ambition. The experience reinforced just how important it is to invest in early career education and create opportunities for young people to explore different professional paths.
