As a follow up to our last video, I thought it was worth sharing with you some 'don'ts' when it comes to writing your CV.

Jonathan - Yeah, we see loads of different CV's and everyone writes the CV differently, but here's a couple of my absolute don'ts for CV writing.

So you won't believe this, but people do. They put the first job they've ever had as the first job on their CV, and it's clearly the most current, most recent job should be right at the top of the CV.

So yeah, absolutely go in chronological order. Reverse, not from your actual history.

A couple of other absolutely do not's to do on your CV. Don't leave gaps on your CV.

Any gaps between any employment, regardless of how long or short they must be, absolutely explain them.

Do not leave gaps. It's just going to raise questions that you're just going to have to answer, so you're better off answering them beforehand.
