Pricing Manager
A leading law firm are recruiting for a driven Pricing Manager to lead the firm's global pricing strategies and make a recognisable impact on their core clients' performance. This Pricing Manager position is a newly created role, where you will be supporting the firm in its client - focussed work. As a Pricing Manager, you will be a proactive and inquisitive individual who is committed to providing advice on pricing strategies and ensuring that Partners are fully supported.
As the Pricing Manager some of your responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and support the firm's global pricing program
- Document related policies, processes and monitor compliance
- Act as a trusted adviser to the firm on pricing issues globally
- Support strategic and high value transactions by working with Partners, Finance and senior BD staff
- Be able to adapt to deal with individual and privately-owned businesses as well as institutional and listed clients
- Proactively lead discussions on pricing with a view to building strategies that will assist the firm in gaining new clients and retaining existing client relationships
- Take ownership of the firm's pricing tool, assist with its further development and promote its use to Partners and fee earners
- Undertake financial modelling and scenario analysis to support pricing decisions
- Review performance of existing and historic pricing agreements to identify opportunities for enhancing current and future performance
- Provide content for training materials to offices and practice groups
- Coach and support Partners in understanding pricing levers and their commercial impact
- Maintain pricing knowledge and regularly monitor industry pricing practices
To be successful in this Pricing Manager position, some of the requirements include:
- Significant years of experience providing pricing support within a Professional Services environment
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) desirable but not essential
- Able to influence and build strong working relationships with internal clients and colleagues
- Adaptable to evolving market pressures and demands
- Eager to take responsibility and drive projects forward
- Attention to detail and good time management skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong commercial aptitude
- Highly IT literate including Excel experience
