Partner Finance Assistant


You will be part of a team that is responsible for the financial and tax affairs of the partners, as well as maintaining the firm's international structure and administering the firm's tax lodgings.

Key responsibilities:
Administration and accounting of partners' monthly drawings and ad hoc payments
Posting payments and journals to System
Analysing partner data with available systems and producing reports to senior management.
Preparing and arranging payment of partners' monthly drawings, including reconciling London partner drawings accounts and accounting of all transactions relating to this process
Set up and maintain monthly payment schedules for partners and post payments onto system
Assist with accounting for branch head offices, including general ledger postings, preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and inter-office reconciliations.
Assist with reconciliation of partners' capital and partners' capital interest cycle.
Deal with partner queries.
Assist in the partners' tax payments on account to HMRC
Prepare payment schedule for annuity partners and annual R185 forms.
Pension releases for partners.
Assisting with year-end tasks.
Assisting with reconciliation of annual partners' current account.
Skills Needed:
Must have finance experience gained in either legal or professional services
Experience in Partner tax and remuneration ideal
Experience of using legal software such as Elite or Aderant preferred
