Global Financial & Business Intelligence Analyst

A top 10 law firm are looking for a Global Financial and Business Intelligence Analyst to join their international team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a newly created post, and the purpose of this role will be for you to provide support in manipulating financial data and creating reporting tools in order to support global financial reporting, key client reporting and other data related initiatives. You will also be responsible for identifying and collecting data that is required to generate new metrics. A combination of good technical skills and the ability to cope under pressure are business critical.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Completes MS SQL Administration tasks on Data Warehouse, Reporting and Analysis services.
Completes month-end Reporting procedures and daily report subscription administration tasks.
Provides SQL support to Accounts Systems for ad-hoc data extracts and updates to Elite Accounting System.
Completes administration on ProClarity server and provides support to ProClarity users.
Completes design, development and testing of new reporting requirements using SQL, MDX and .Net programming skills.
Completes updates and fixes to Data warehouse and ETL process to fulfil changing business requirements.
Documents changes to applications through design, configuration and support reports.
Documents the Business Intelligence related policies and procedures.
Produces regular month-end reports for the use of global leaders in relation to our global practice and sector groups.
Creates formats and templates to support global key client reporting (to the client).
Works closely with members of the BD, Finance and IT teams.

As the Global Financial and Business Intelligence Analyst you will have previous experience in developing ETL integration packages using SSIS and SSRS reports, strong Excel skills and good technical documentation skills.

The ability to work well under pressure, interact with individuals at all levels and be able to present to groups of all sizes is required.
