Financial Systems Reporting Manager

A global law firm is currently looking for a proactive Financial Systems Reporting Manager to join their inclusive and friendly team. The role is based in London with a short walk from easily accessible stations. As a Financial Systems Reporting Manager you will be joining the innovative firm to help deliver automation of tasks performed manually by the finance team.

As the Financial Systems Reporting Manager some of your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the design and implementation of improved reporting processes and procedures
  • Supporting and maintaining existing reporting and ETL processes
  • Planning and managing the reporting elements of financial system upgrades
  • Managing and administering data within financial systems related SQL databases to ensure data is accurate, consistent and error-free
  • Complying with documented configuration management and change management processes and procedures
  • Support the project teams to manage the reporting elements of the new financial systems
  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of first and second-line support services for new and changed financial applications
  • Assist the Financial Systems Manager in the procurement of IT hardware, software and service as required
  • Managing, testing and assessing suppliers to ensure that they meet agreed quality and service standards
  • Developing training materials for the firm's staff
  • Reviewing, updating and reporting incidents assigned to the Financial Systems Team on the IT helpdesk
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults, queries and requests assigned to the Financial Systems team
  • Maintain the high standard of service offered to the firm's existing clients

To be successful in this Financial Systems Reporting Manager position, some of the requirements include:

  • Previous experience within a professional services or legal environment
  • Proficient in SSRS development
  • Experienced in using Tableau for data visualisations
  • Experience of Azure Devops
  • Experienced in managing and developing ETL processes
  • Knowledge of a Practice Management System is desirable but not essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
