Corporate Finance Partner

We have been instructed by a boutique advisory practice to find a Corporate Finance Partner to lead the M&A division in London. They currently have a small corporate finance team based in one of their regional offices and so this opportunity can cater either for one main individual or a team to move over to set up and drive an M&A offering in the firm's head London office.

The current corporate finance set-up work on an array of different type transactions with MBOs, fundraisers and sell-side M&A deals making up the bulk of their completed transactions las year. Deal size ranges from £1m-£20m and they are very sector agnostic.

The wider business cover restructuring and forensic services and complements the corporate finance team nicely with the cross-selling of clients and markets. The firm have invested in growing out the practice having made five Partner hires last year and 2020 marks the next phase of the firm's growth plans with multiple new UK locations and a commitment to growing out a London corporate finance division.

To be considered, you will need to be able to originate and have a track record of bringing in annual fees that are north of £500k. Transaction history will need to be more SME to mid-market than big ticket deals and you must also have the ability to scale a business.

If you are looking for a new challenge and would like the chance to create your own division in an organisation that is nimble, ambitious and with a multidiscipline focus yet still boutique in structure and feel then this will make for a positive career move.

We are really pleased to be working on this assignment exclusively and will be shortlisting candidates across the next 2-3 weeks. If you are interested in having an initial and confidential conversation then please do reach out.
