A top London law firm are looking for a Client Disbursements Clerk to join their dynamic and fast paced Finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong purchase ledger background to gain extensive exposure to a wide range of finance responsibilities. You will be constantly communicating with all levels of the business, as well as,

As the Client Disbursements Clerk you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Posting and controlling counsel and expert fee notes in a timely manner for onward billing.
  • Foreign currency conversion and logging of Forex disbursements.
  • Dispatching and tracking client related fee notes internally for immediate checking, authorisation and billing onto clients.
  • Maintaining and setting up supplier records.
  • Maintaining and setting up BACS templates for suppliers.
  • Billing cover in Revenue & Billing Controller's absence and at busy times.

The successful Client Disbursements Clerk candidate will have:

  • Previous finance experience within a law firm or professional services firm
  • Fee clerk or purchase ledger experience with reconciliation skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Studying AAT or ILFM will be advantageous
  • Fantastic initiative and the ability to adapt to a busy environment
