Business Development Manager - Africa

One of the most prestigious law firms in the UK is looking for a newly created Business Development Manager who will cover their Africa region amongst other international locations. This permanent position will have the support from a dedicated Business Development Executive.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

*Driving and implementing international business development initiatives across set international regions including Africa
*Responsibility for managing the BD and marketing activities across your regions, working closely with country partners to drive this
*Analysing legal market activity, including local activity to the regions, competitor activity and press and media relations
*Profile raising and delivery of the internal and external marketing communications and increasing the profile in the wider firm.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate clear experience in business planning with proven achievements in effectively driving BD activity for their partner group. Experience of working in a law firm is essential. The role will see you working with high profile clients and internal stakeholders, where you must demonstrate excellent relationship management and emotional intelligence, able to leverage effective results from multiple stakeholders to reach common goals.
