Business Development Manager

A specialist global management consultancy is looking to hire a Business Development professional to support the European business. The remit will have a particular focus on the German market and will require a fluent German speaker.

You will work within the Business Development team and report into the Business Development Director who is also based in London. Regular travel to Germany will be required in this full 360 sales/BD position.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating BD and sales campaigns in order to generate meetings with potential clients
  • Working alongside Vice Presidents of the business in order to pitch/present for new business
  • Managing the sales cycle from the very first point of contact to the deal closure
  • Working alongside the Marketing and BD team in order to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Ensure revenue and client meeting targets are met

Requirements:

  • Germany speaker - essential
  • Have previously worked in a 360 B2B sales/BD position within a corporate environment - essential
  • Previous user of Salesforce
  • Able to communicate, influence, and build relationships with c-suite level stakeholders
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement skills
  • Pro-active and good attention to detail
