Business Development Executive (Corporate, Competition, Tax)

My client is a global law firm looking for an BD Executive to support their Corporate, Competition and Tax practices. This role will absolutely suit an experienced professional who is ready for a new challenge within a firm that focuses on their employee's development.

With a strong volume of pitches within this practice you will need to be someone who is comfortable with this. There will also be a lot of client interaction and you will be expected to be Partner facing internally

Responsibilities

  • Assist the BD Manager to implement business and marketing plans
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to report monthly on the marketing spend against budget
  • Support the Business Development Manager and the PR and Communications team to raise the profile of the practice
  • Coordinate maintenance of client information on our CRM system
  • Assist in drafting and updating marketing materials
  • Help to identify suitable events
  • Attend and engage with clients at events
  • Undertake market research
  • Assist the Business Development Manager to manage the sales pipeline
  • Coordinate and draft legal directory submissions

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment an advantage
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills
