Billing Coordinator

A leading law firm is currently looking for a proactive Billing Coordinator to join their team. As a Billing Coordinator, you will prepare and process high quality invoices in a timely manner. During your role as a Billing Coordinator you will be working in a supportive environment with the opportunity to progress within the department.

As the Billing Coordinator some of your responsibilities include:

  • Monitor unbilled fees for partners and clients
  • Meet with managers and partners to discuss monthly billing, outstanding invoices and strategies for collections
  • Managing outstanding accounts receivable
  • Handling billing and client requests
  • Prepare billing packages for partners
  • Ensure time entries are in accordance with client policy
  • Communicate changes in client policies to timekeepers
  • Creating billing variance and write off reports
  • Preparing electronic invoices and tracking status of bills submitted
  • Provide assistance to partners and clients on outstanding invoices

To be successful in this Billing Coordinator position, some of the requirements include:

  • 3 years plus billing experience from a Law firm
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels
  • IT literate including Excel skills and accounts systems
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritise, work well under pressure with good attention to detail
