BD Manager - Real Estate (FTC)
An exciting opportunity for a 14 month interim cover has arisen within this prestigious law firm for an experienced International Business Development Manager to deliver the firm's BD strategy for one of their key business groups.
You will be a proven, successful BD manager with excellent people management skills, who has worked closely with fee earners as well as other key stakeholders.
A key focus for this role will be to provide focus and direction for the key Practice areas and you will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with the partners to help draft business plans.
It is essential that you are robust and can drive new business, identifying opportunities and developing relationships with potential new clients, advising and delivering on pitches, managing the firm's profile projects and ensuring operationally there is effective liaison between other parts of the business. You will also provide insight and direction from a BD capacity on the events side.
The BD Manager will have 3 direct reports and will have additional responsibility for the delivery of activity via a virtual international team.
Ideally you will have BD experience gained in professional services at Manager level with practical experience of a variety of BD roles including pitches, account management and thought leadership. A good track record of working collaboratively across borders and leading international projects as well as proven ability to conduct business analysis and develop strategic plans is also required.
They are ideally looking for someone who can start mid-end March.
