The main responsibilities of the role will include:
Project managing high value tenders and providing strategic input and advice on other tenders
Coaching partners and managers through the business development cycle and helping to motivate and drive positive behaviours
Challenging partners on their approach to BD opportunities, and addressing any areas for improvement
Identifying opportunities to grow current client relationships
Initiating and implementing process improvement projects across the office
Ensuring all communications are brand compliant and in support of the firm's communications strategy, including driving the active use of social media
Liaising and following up with the PR team to ensure adequate, timely and appropriate regional PR coverage
The successful candidate for the role of Business Development Manager will have strong leadership capabilities and it is essential that you have strong knowledge of the fundamentals of the business development process and that you have worked in a professional services environment. Bids experience is also required.
