Audit Senior - Pensions
Ambition have partnered with a high ranking accountancy practice in their search for a fully qualified accountant to join them as an Audit Senior to work on pension scheme administration for a variety of clients.
The practice are a leading firm of Chartered Accountants and tax advisers in Central London who provide advice to fast-growing and owner managed businesses, as well as charities and not for profit organisations. As a firm, they are extremely proud of their ability to provide a wide range of services whilst offering a personal approach.
As an Audit Senior working within Pensions, you will hold the responsibility of running pension audits for a client portfolio.
The main responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
* Carrying out audits using a bespoke risk based audit approach
* Responsibility for planning of the audit file through to the completion sections including financial statements, management letters and letters of representation
* Supervise and delegate work to junior members of staff
* Perform accounts preparation jobs either from clients' trial balance or from their original accounting records
In order to succeed in this position, you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent), have excellent reporting skills and experience of audit and accounts preparation. Knowledge of occupational pension schemes or a regulatory environment would be an advantage.
