Assistant Manager - Transaction Services

We are pleased to be working with a leading advisory firm which is looking for an Transaction Services Assistant Manager to join its growing team in Birmingham. The firm continues to enjoy impressive growth with strengths in the middle-market, and the Corporate Finance team is no different.

You will be supporting the manager on a range of assignments including due diligence for corporates, private equity houses and banks, financial modelling and valuations. Transaction sizes range between £5m - £100m across a variety of sectors, including TMT, industrials, financial services, consumer markets and healthcare.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be capable of assisting with transactions and handling smaller transactions. You will be liaising with clients, external financiers, management and other professionals, and you should therefore have strong interpersonal skills.

The role would suit somebody from an audit background within professional services. You will be ACA/ACCA qualified with first time passes and a good understanding of UK GAAP. By now, you will be technically strong and will have gained at least 12 months' transaction services experience, in particular, due diligence, financial modelling and valuations. You will be naturally inquisitive with a strong commercial acumen, and have the ability to build long-term relationships.
