Accounts Clerk

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the fastest growing Law Firms in the UK. They are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy finance team on a temporary basis, to be based in their stylish, modern Central London offices.

The responsibilities include:
*Inputting of all Supplier and Associate invoices to the Accounting system (Access), ensuring that account codes, case numbers, discounts and payment terms are correct
*Processing of bank and BACS payments to suppliers and sent remittent advices
*Inputting all bank payments entries to Access
*Maintain the EIPdocs record and filing system of accounts payable files
and other financial records including purchase orders and invoices for retrieval or review
*Checking bank accounts to assure all funds are available for purchases
*Reconciliation of UK bank accounts on a monthly basis
*Petty cash management
*Maintenance of the FA register and account for FA depreciation on monthly basis
*Checking that the EPO, UKIPO and OHIM deposit accounts have sufficient funds

The ideal candidate should have:
*Prior experience of working as an accounts clerk within a professional services environment
*Experience working with access
*The ability to be a strong team player
*Good IT skills
*Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
