Accounts Assistant

A leading law firm providing the highest quality legal advice and services are looking for a dynamic individual for the Accounts Assistant position. Your role will focus on providing accounts and administrative support as well as sharing the knowledge of inspirational people around them.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the accounts team
  • Ensure monies are allocated to correct files
  • Review information submitted from banks
  • Preparing credit slips for bank transfers
  • Prepare all third-party bills
  • Support quarterly client billing, including moving work in progress
  • Review data for 6 monthly reporting
  • Assisting with waiver letters for company restorations

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience within professional services firm
  • Understanding of financial accounting
  • Good IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work towards strict deadlines
  • Attention to detail and self-motivated
