Senior Marketing & BD Executive (Media, Entertainment & Sport)

I'm working with a fantastic leading international law firm in their search to find a Senior Marketing & Business Development with a focus on the Media, Entertainment and Sports practice area.

This is a great opportunity to work with some of the leading partners in this area alongside the best-known sport and entertainment brands in the world. The lawyers who work within this area are forward thinking, creative and innovative people who are passionate about the work they do.

The Marketing & Business Development team help win new work and strengthen the relationships using a data focused approach. The team is based predominatley in London with other memebers based in international offices too.

Key Responsbilities

• Using market awareness and product knowledge to identify hot topics and trends which support the business development strategy.
• Supporting on bids and tenders, working collaboratively with fee earners and the wider MBD team to create winning propositions, using the bids platform Loopio.
• Maximising outcomes from BD initiatives, including in relation to social media and PR opportunities.
• Managing the directories and award submissions process for the London MES team, and providing guidance to any submissions managed by our international offices.

About You

• Previous experience of working in a professional services environment and experience of dealing directly with partners
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience of/an interest in the key legal and commercial issues affecting the MES sector group.
• Exposure to the full spectrum of MBD activities, specifically business development and events experience.
• Strong writing skills, editing ability and proficiency in MS applications including Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, experience with other platforms like InDesign/Salesforce etc. would be a bonus.
