Semi Senior Accountant

We are working with a well-regarded accountancy firm in North west London who are currently seeking a Semi Senior accountant to join their business management team.

You can work during the hours of 7am - 7pm along with hybrid arrangement of 2 days working from home upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Your Role:

• Manage a portfolio of 10-20 clients
• Ensure general bookkeeping is done in a timely manner
• Management accounts and Monthly reporting
• Production of monthly management accounts
• Cash flow management and forecasts
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns, dealing with HMRC queries
• Purchase and sales ledger
• Data entry using various accounting software (Xero and Quickbooks Online)
• Credit control
• Liaising with clients and their representatives/managers
• Provide training to junior staff members
• Ad hoc tasks as required

What you need:

• Have previous experience within a practice.
• Have residnetial status in the UK.
• Working knowledge of Xero and Quickbooks.
• Be enthusiastic - will be joining a busy department.
• Be flexible in your approach - will be a varied role.
