Revenue Assistant

Ambition are recruiting for the role of Revenue Assistant within a distinguished London based law firm.

The role requires accuracy and excellent time keeping, confidently working with Partners and fee earners to perform and support billing and collections. The role reports to the Director of International Accounting.

A selection of the responsibilities are:

Billing

• Work in progress (WIP) management with Partners and the Billing & Collections Manager in the US.
• Timely distribution of pre bills to the London and Brussels Partners each month.
• Posting of invoices on 'Aderant' accounting system.
• Ensuring compliance with UK and Belgium VAT regulations, SRA regulations, and the firm's internal policies and procedures at all times.

Ebilling

• Production and submission of the London and Brussels office ebills in LEDES or other formats.
• Checking for approval/posting dates on ebilling websites and posting of bills in Aderant.

Collections / Accounts Receivable

• Collections work for London and Brussels clients
• Updating ARCS with collection comments and status.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Knowing Your Client (KYC)

• Verifying AML and KYC documentation and tools; and dealing with queries from Partners, Attorneys and staff.

Accounts Payable

• Support of AP and expenses function using Chrome River for Brussels and during busy periods, including process of vendor invoices, payment processing, expense approval etc for other offices.
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations.

Ad Hoc Duties

• Production of ad hoc time reports, Business Development reports, and billing history information and completion of information for audit requests.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• Previous billing and accounts payable experience within a law firm setting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a team
