Pricing Manager

A fantastic Pricing Manager role has become available at Top Law firm.

The role will involve you supporting and influencing partners with their decision-making on pricing as well as leading pricing support for panels and client relationship tenders and providing pricing support for opportunities across UK, US and EMEA

As the Pricing Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking financial modelling and scenario analysis to support pricing decisions - client and matter-based pricing
  • Acting as an trusted advisor and specialist resource for Partners and Senior Associates when they are making pricing decisions
  • Supporting client pricing negotiations through the provision of concise supporting data analysis, recommendations and negotiation strategies
  • Working closely with Partners, Business Finance, Legal Operations and Business Development to create financial models specific to pricing scenarios and explain/present results and impact to all levels of seniority
  • Developing and implementing the firm's pricing strategy
  • Provide tactical advice and analytical support to assist partners on optimal pricing of major non-contentious matters including initial pricing and any renegotiations
  • Reviewing and advising on the drafting of pricing aspects of commercial agreements and pitches
  • Contributing to pricing content for RFPs
  • Providing data analytics to better understand and predict costs of delivering work
  • Reviewing the performance of existing pricing agreements to identify opportunities for enhancing current and future performance
  • Developing innovative pricing propositions that enhance practice groups' abilities to win profitable work
  • Supporting the development of metrics and reporting tools to clearly illustrate trends and analysis of pricing performance. Proactively identify areas of concern, success and opportunity
  • Working with the firm's Pricing Team to develop and implement strategic pricing projects, such as pricing approvals and the global rate review processes

Skills required for this role include,

  • Experience of working in a Pricing role in a professional services environment, ideally in a law firm
  • A good understanding of Alternative fee arrangements utilised in law firm pricing
  • Proven ability to convert complex/raw data into concise and actionable intelligence
  • High level of understanding of law firm economics and fee models
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and relationship building skills including experience in building strong relationships of trust with senior stakeholders and/or clients.
