A great opportunity has arisen to work for a leading global law firm as a Pitch and Pursuits Manager. Joining this highly regarded and very supportive team, this pitch manager role will see you creating and managing multi jurisdiction high value pitches across a range of their legal offerings. With a focus on larger scale pitches you'll be joining a collaborative team who have created an award winning function that delivers high quality and innovative pitches for their partner groups to ensure strong growth for their clients and firms revenues.

As pitch and pursuits manager, duties will include:

  • Collaborate with the practice area and industry Marketing and Business Development teams to develop responses to client proposals and pitches, to support the firm's business development requirements.
  • Manage the firms pitch best practices to ensure pitch materials are consistently client-focused, compliant, and easy to evaluate.
  • Design and develop high-quality pitches for clients in the public and private sector, across industries.
  • Research and review relevant market, industry, competitive, and business information for the preparation of successful pitches.
  • Coach pitch teams on presentation techniques and handling Q&As; and conducting post-pitch evaluations to obtain feedback and trend analysis.
  • Collaborating with other administrative functions within the firm, including the finance team, pricing team, compliance team, and the general counsel's office, to ensure alignment and gathering of relevant information for pitch completion.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating standard pitch content in pitch database.
  • Design and deliver materials for forthcoming strategic pitch opportunities.
  • Help to identify inefficiencies in the pitch process and develop plan(s) to address.
  • Continuously look for new areas of growth and help develop a strategy for further pursuits.
  • Keep abreast of relevant market and competitive intelligence.

What's needed:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in professional services, corporate, bank, industry, or agency environment.
  • Proven experience of marketing, business development, or proposal experience in a professional services, corporate, or agency environment.
  • Significant related experience of developing and managing credentials, proposals, tenders or other written sales tools along with relevant work experience in a legal or professional services environment is desired.
