Marketing Communications Specialist

A leading European Law firm would like to recruit a part time Marketing Communications Specialist.
The purpose of this post will be to increase the reach and impact of the firm's profile and visibility through the delivery of high value and influential marketing, communications and PR in the UK and internationally, thereby significantly contributing to the development of new leads.

To achieve this you will work with the content and digital functions, developing and implementing a marketing and communications strategy across a range of reactive and strategically planned opportunities in print, media, events and online. The client is flexible around the contracted days and the post has the potential to be permanent for the right candidate. You would be working with a small team and they are open to agile working arrangements.

Some of the key duties includes;

  • Working with other members of the team and relevant partner stakeholders drive forward, develop and deliver creative marketing and communication strategies, plans and approaches to help market and position firm to win and retain clients, using the full range of routes to market
  • Take a proactive role in being a brand champion for the firm, ensuring that the firms brand positioning in specific markets and also the whole firm wide brand positioning is fit from a client attraction perspective. Actively support the new brand project and be a key part of the implementation team.
  • Challenge traditional marketing techniques and embrace technology and cutting-edge approaches to drive connectivity with the firms client base
  • Work in tandem with BD colleagues to put together engaging and thought-provoking campaigns, you will need to show the ability to differentiate the campaign approaches by specific sectors

We would like to hear from you if you are;

  • Educated degree level - perhaps CIM qualified
  • Proven experience of successfully developing and delivering marketing tactics within a professional services environment (ideally the legal sector)
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Knowledge of SEO and google analytics and experience with marketing campaigns on social media
  • Attention to detail and accuracy while meeting critical deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of email marketing and CMS platforms (preferably interaction)
  • Robust and determined with a hands-on commercial approach to anticipating and responding to business needs
