Marketing & BD Executive - Real Estate

A Mayfair-based law firm is looking for a talented Business Development and Marketing Executive to work directly with the Commercial Real Estate team in raising the team's profile, identifying and developing target clients, assisting and developing multi-channel marketing campaigns and pitching to win and retain business. This role would provide a good next career step for someone with experience working for a professional services firm focused on real estate or someone from a real estate company, agent, investor, developer or operator. You will be given the opportunity to work closely with and report to the Commercial Real Estate Business Development & Marketing Manager whilst being mentored by them. The role will provide the opportunity to work in a team which will offer support but also the chance to try out new ideas, hone and develop your marketing/BD skillset and to be involved in both challenging and fascinating work!

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will devise key plans for the sector groups responsible for driving action and delivery.
  • Utilise your creativity to develop and execute cross-channel marketing campaigns on topics and aligned to sector groups with the support of BDM, digital team and freelance graphic designers.
  • Where appropriate you will get the chance to work with selected PR agencies on communications strategy for campaign, team and deal promotion.
  • Manage internal and client communications around new BD initiatives and communicate the work of the CRE team.
  • You will, support and manage major client pitches through assisting in research, collating information and proofing.
  • As and when required, help partners prepare for pitches, BD meetings and other presentations by facilitating rehearsals and providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain (supervising the BD & Marketing Assistant) a library of credentials documents covering sectors and services.
  • Liaise with Library/KDLs/etc in collation and review of data used for credentials meetings/documents.
  • Manage (supervising the BD & Marketing Assistant) a library of standard BDM materials including CVs and case studies.
  • Get the chance to work closely with selected partners (this will be split between the Business Development and Marketing Managers) in developing individual sales pipelines of key clients, targets and referral contacts.

Skills and Requirements

  • You will be confident in hosting meetings and driving action whilst maintaining a proactive approach.
  • You will be able to confidently interact written and orally with internal clients and colleagues as well as external suppliers and consultants.
  • You will have Exceptional IT skills and be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint!
  • You should have a minimum of four years' experience in Business Development and Marketing within a professional services firm (ideally a law firm) and proven experience within a real estate environment.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skill are essential.
