Insolvency Cashier

Ambition are working with a Top 10 accountancy practice who are searching for an experienced Insolvency Cashier in their London office.

You will be working within a team with high staff retention and an excellent reputation. This is a great opportunity for an Insolvency Cashier with 3-5 years of experience, looking to work for a larger firm, with all the benefits that this provides, whilst still maintaining a tight knit & supportive team culture.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• To reconcile a large number of estate / client accounts and identify all unidentified entries.
• To liaise and meet with various representatives to a professional standard, whilst completing duties and progressing relationships.
• To arrange bank account opening and closing with various banking institutions in an expedient manner.
• Complete internal procedures for paying in estate / client account cheques to the relevant account. (This will include going to various bank branches)
• Process sterling and foreign cheque / transfer requisitions, whilst showing a very high level of attention to detail.
• To arrange deposit investments to maximise return for amount available.
• To accurately process entries to estate / client accounts.
• To produce statutory documents, whilst showing a high level of attention to detail, in line with statutory requirements.
• To file documentation to the correct case files, for audit trail and future reference purposes.
• Allocate inward payments.
• Processing of payments, upon receipt of back-up paperwork.
