E-billing Coordinator
I am delighted to be partnered with an international law firm in their search for an E-billing Coordinator based in their London office. Reporting into an experienced e-billing manager this position is an excellent opportunity at a top firm.
The duties of the role:
- Partner with Billing Coordinators and Revenue Controllers to address issues and ensure seamless e-Bill submissions.
- Provide guidance on accurate bill preparation in line with clients outside counsel guidelines.
- Collaborate with the e-Billing Supervisor and team to enhance and streamline e-Billing processes, boosting efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
- Keep thorough documentation of all procedures and processes.
- Review and submit timekeeper rates and other essential data for eBilling clients before submission.
- Resolve issues with Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) formats and e-BillingHub configurations.
- Monitor invoice rejections to identify issues proactively and work with Billing/Revenue staff to address rejections, client deductions, and other concerns.
- Assist Billing Coordinators in preparing appeals for rejected invoices and troubleshoot to resolve all issues.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to resolve issues swiftly and ensure successful invoice submissions.
- Undertake special projects and ad hoc requests from the e-Billing Supervisor and/or Manager.
- Foster effective work practices, teamwork, and mutual respect among co-workers.
The right candidates will need:
- In-depth knowledge of billing processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting at all levels.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and follow-through.
- Efficient in organizing workflow and managing time.
- Proactive in anticipating work needs, taking initiative, and following through with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, determined, with strong interpersonal skills and resolve.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Preferred knowledge of 3e.
- Familiarity with various eBilling vendors
