Credit Controller

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a dynamic opportunity within the legal sector?

My client a well established law firm is recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join the team on a 6-month FTC basis. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling the debtors ledger, ensuring effective cash collection while minimising the risk of bad debt.

Key Responsibilities:

• Debt Management: Oversee the debtors ledger, proactively managing outstanding balances.
• Cash Collection: Implement robust processes and controls to optimise cash flow.
• Risk Mitigation: Minimise bad debt exposure through diligent credit control practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including finance and legal departments.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on debt status.
• Client Communication: Engage with clients professionally to resolve outstanding payment issues.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a Credit Controller, ideally within a law firm.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in tracking and managing financial data.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across departments.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with legal billing processes and terminology.
