Client Development Assistant - up to 30k

A top law firm with 8 offices across Asia, Europe and the Middle East and over 180 partners is looking for a talented Client Development Assistant to join their London office. The firms experience encompasses corporate, commercial litigation and arbitration, employment, private wealth and more. Within this exciting role you will be reporting to the events and client development managers and will act as the primary support to both the event and client development teams. Get the chance to support all major client facing events and activity internally and externally.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Help to research client organisations and key client contacts, prepare and manage client reports and support the Head of Client development and Client Development Manager in client meetings.
  • Assist the client development team with sales/opportunity and tender/pitch support.
  • Update InterAction the firms CRM system and manage/update the firms 'Client Listening' programme.
  • Aid in the management and delivery of a range of key client events such as seminars, training etc.
  • Share client reports as well as financial analysis and management information, using the firm's financial reporting and other systems to comply with internal and external panel obligations.
  • Prepare event signage, place cards, seating plans and dinner settings as required, managing stock control for firm merchandise.
  • Providing the event manager and the event executives with event support before, during and after firm events, e.g updating internal teams with event requirements, welcoming clients to events and setting up badge equipment ahead of events.

Experience and Qualifications

  • You will posses' knowledge of Microsoft Packages, knowledge of other legal packages is desirable although not needed.
  • Attention to detail and reliability are essential.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Possess the ability to respond positively and promptly to requests, using initiative to seek solutions to problems
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once, often to tight deadlines, and forward plan to manage your workload
