Business Development Manager (Finance & Real Estate Projects) - Fixed Term Contract
Location: London
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our law firm client's team on a fixed-term contract. This role involves supporting the Finance and Real Estate Projects practice groups, providing strategic advice, and executing business development plans. You will work closely with practice area leaders and partners to drive growth and enhance client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with practice area leaders to draft business plans and lead the delivery of BD aspects. Develop key selling messages and differentiate their practices in the market.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and execute client relationship plans, act as the account manager for key clients, and gather feedback to continuously improve services.
- Tender Management: Manage key tender and panel opportunities, work with partners on specific selling messages, and enhance content with persuasive and accurate messaging.
- Collateral Creation: Create customised credentials documents highlighting expertise across all practice areas.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell the work of finance, real estate, and projects into other areas of the firm.
- Mentoring: Provide BD mentoring support to participants on the 'High Potential' Senior Associate Programme.
- Directory Submissions: Review Legal 500 and Chambers submissions to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality submissions.
- Event Management: Work with the events team to produce and deliver outstanding client events, co-host events with relevant market bodies, and ensure return on investment.
- Market Analysis: Identify themes in the market, review and share relevant competitor activity, and liaise with the communications team on media plans.
- Team Management: Manage, mentor, and support the BD executive, ensuring quality of service and output.
Requirements:
