Business Development Manager - Global client team

We are working with one of the leading legal brands to add new headcount into their Global Client Development team, the role will involve working within their Africa jurisdiction whilst also having a focus on targeted growth areas within the broader firm. We believe the role offers an exciting blend of work and would be ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in a variety of BD, Marketing & Client relationship work and finds working outside of a more traditional practice/sector led role an exciting opportunity.

The role will work as part of an established team, working alongside experienced managers and global heads based in the London office, giving the prospect and opportunity for mid-long term career growth for the right individual. In terms of experience, we are very open to considering individuals currently operating at management level or ambitious BD professionals who are looking for that first time management opportunity.

Key duties will include;

  • Coordinating the BD strategy for specific regions and growth markets inline with the wider firmwide goals and visions for these areas. You will have the opportunity to be involved with the planning and implementation stages of this.
  • Take on aspects of managing high profile client relationships, who are part of the firmwide client programme, both from an existing client point of view, plus strategically looking at specific markets to identify new business opportunities for the firm.
  • Play a key role in targeted marketing campaigns, ensuring that the content is relevant and engaging towards the relevant target audience, this will include working on a variety of global projects.
