Ambition are excited to be partnering with a magic circle law firm who are seeking to bring a Business Development Manager within their consulting arm which is geared around enhancing their relationship with key clients through innovative solutions with a particular focus on Legal technology.

Given the focus of the role we will be hoping to engage individuals who really enjoy the client relationship aspect of business development and working with senior stakeholders and partners to come up with forward thinking market solutions.

Key aspects of the role include;

  • Identify and research specific markets for trends for the firm, coming up with solutions to enhance the client experience that the firm can provide. This will also include highlighting potential revenue opportunities to the partnership working in tandem with the wider BD teams.
  • Work with the marketing and communications colleagues to put in place strategy for targeted campaigns in certain business sectors, with the goal of raising the firm's profile in established markets.
  • Advise on information and technical delivery to pitches across the sectors, this won't be a pitch heavy role but you will be expected to contribute to the overall pitch process when required.
  • In conjunction with the advisory team you will be heavily involved in client listening projects, advising the firm on ideas on how to best enhance the firms client relationships across the board.

Given the above we think this would be ideally suited to a current Business Development Manager who would want to focus on more consultancy type work away from more of the traditional BD duties. We are also looking to engage individuals from a Legal background however someone coming from a larger partnership environment i.e 'The big 4' would also be encouraged to apply.
