Business Development Manager - Business Services

A leading accountancy brand and audit practice in London seeks a Business Development professional to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the growth strategy for audit and non-audit services across key sectors. Here are the specifics:


  • Targeting New Clients: Develop strategies to identify and engage potential clients within specific sectors.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough research to inform business development strategy and plans.
  • Campaign Management: Create cohesive action plans for campaigns to maximize opportunities, track progress, and adjust as needed.
  • Client Relationship Building: Develop and monitor relationship plans to enhance conversations with prospective clients.
  • Existing Client Management: Understand and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to align marketing initiatives with business development objectives.
  • Proposal Support: Collaborate with the Proposals team to ensure tender documents and pitch presentations reflect client needs and articulate our value proposition.

Person Specification:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in the corporate market within a professional services environment, ideally in Audit.
  • Market Understanding: Strong understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing and delivering effective business development initiatives.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly motivated self-starter with excellent relationship-building skills.
