Business Development Manager - 12-Month FTC (Full-Time or 4 Days/Week)

A leading full-service accountancy firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their collaborative and high-performing Marketing and Business Development team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role is based at their Kent office. While the position is full-time, applications from candidates seeking part-time (4 days/week) will also be considered. The firm offers hybrid working arrangements.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement targeted BD strategies aligned with firm-wide goals
  • Coach and support Partners and fee earners in building client and intermediary relationships
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and cross-selling initiatives
  • Lead on local marketing plans, events, and campaigns to drive engagement and revenue
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Digital, Data, HR, IT) and external partners to deliver impactful BD initiatives
  • Manage the proposals and bids process, supporting teams in pitching for new business


What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in a business development or marketing role within professional services
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Exceptionally strong relationship management capabilities
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to spot and act on opportunities
  • Confidence in advising senior stakeholders and managing multiple projects
  • Proactive, positive, and team-oriented approach
