Business Development Consultant

I am working with a rapidly growing professional services consultancy who have a brand-new requirement for a Business Development Consultant to join them on a permanent basis.

This role will be revenue generating and be a 50/50 mix of new business generation and account management of existing clients. This individual would also provide support to the Marketing Team.

Key tasks & Responsibilities.

-Take ownership of the delivery and management of BD plans

-Support on client pitches and meetings - you will eventually lead on your own

-Provide key client insight to help shape new and existing BD & Marketing activity

-Promote online events

-Supporting the team in managing their pipeline

-Leverage social media to help build and maintain relationships with prospects

Skills & Experience required

-Strong Business Development knowledge

-Have the ability to build relationships with professionals at all levels

-Previous experience of working in a B2B Business Development role

-Strong organisational skills

-Strong negotiation skills

-Previous experience of supporting new biz pitches

-Lead generation experience

-CRM knowledge
