Business Development and Marketing Assistant

A leading London law firm who primarily deals with clients from the real estate and private wealth sectors are looking for a Business Development and Marketing assistant to support a range of teams, focusing on corporate and contentious matters. The BD & Marketing Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks and projects associated with raising profile, winning new business, and helping to support partners in developing new and existing business relationships. This exciting role will provide excellent training and career development.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • You will be the first point of contact for all collateral, branded materials, and other associated marketing matters.
  • Update the corporate and DR webpages ensuring all web content is on brand and develop engaging content for Linkedin, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Manage the design process for small initiatives with internal and external design support.
  • Carry out client, competitor, and sector research to support BD strategies, pitch opportunities and campaigns.
  • Track markets trends through in-depth research and highlight potential opportunities.
  • Assist the BD and Marketing manager in driving forward BD plans for the Corporate and DR groups.
  • To produce marketing collateral (e.g. credentials, team sheets, deal sheets, briefing sheets), ensuring that they are communicated to the relevant audiences and available on-line and are brand compliant.
  • Support the BD and Marketing Manager in chasing up, and collating content for campaigns and projects.
  • Assist with the creation of key pitch documents and credentials.

About you

  • Experience of working within a busy and highly focused Marketing/BD team.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Intermediate level InDesign and Vuture would be advantageous.
  • Excellent administration, organisational and prioritisation skills with ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Good attention to detail. Accurate and thorough.
  • Resourceful, able to use own initiative to find answers to queries - being proactive and forward thinking.
