This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the UK's largest public sector bodies, including NHS trusts and local government organisations. You'll be part of a team that values quality, inclusion, and integrity-offering a supportive environment where your development and wellbeing are prioritised.
What's on offer:
- A well-established public sector audit team with strong market presence
- Exposure to high-profile clients across healthcare, local government, and emergency services

- A culture that supports career returners and encourages personal growth
- Opportunities to contribute beyond audit-through secondments, community initiatives, and more
What you'll be doing:
- Leading audits for public sector clients, managing teams and delivering high-quality outputs
- Applying your technical expertise in UK GAAP (FRS 101 & FRS 102), and ideally IFRS
- Using audit software and Microsoft tools to streamline processes
- Engaging with clients to understand their challenges and provide proactive solutions
- Supporting junior staff and contributing to a collaborative team culture
What we're looking for:
- ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent qualification with post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 101 & FRS 102); IFRS experience is a plus
- Experience managing audits of public sector bodies in the UK would be preferred
- If no public sector audit experience, extensive experience with large audits in the UK (£100m+) will be needed to be considered
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- A genuine interest in making a difference through public sector work
- Right to work as sponsorship cannot be provided
