At Ambition, we know that when our people feel supported, they thrive—not just at work, but in every part of life. That’s why we make time to celebrate wellbeing, not as a one-off initiative, but as a reflection of the culture we’re building every day.
Recently, we brought the whole team together for Wellbeing Week—a chance to step back from the usual routine, move our bodies, learn something new, connect with each other, and reflect on what it means to feel good at work.
What It Was All About
Wellbeing Week was designed to help everyone feel recharged and supported, with activities and resources focused on physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.
Healthy breakfast to kick-start our weeks with fruit, granola and greek yoghurt!
We brought in internal and external voices to share practical advice across different aspects of wellbeing:
Desk Ergonomics & Stretches with Julia: An interactive workshop focused on posture, movement, and how to avoid the common strains of desk work—complete with chair-friendly stretches anyone can do throughout the day.
Financial Wellbeing Talk with Kelly Cheng: Kelly shared approachable insights on personal finance, from budgeting basics to long-term planning. Her session sparked real conversations about money—a topic that affects everyone, but isn’t always openly discussed at work.
These kinds of initiatives are more than just nice-to-haves. They reflect how we bring our PRIDE values to life—not as words on a wall, but as everyday actions:
What We Took Away
One of the most powerful parts of the week was how much people participated and shared photos from mid-day walks, thoughtful notes on the Gratitude Wall, new habits they want to build into daily life. It reminded us that sometimes the most important thing a company can do is make space for people to pause, breathe, and prioritise themselves.
The feedback from the team was clear: these moments matter. And while Wellbeing Week may only last five days, its impact continues through conversations, choices, and a shared understanding that we’re all better when we support each other as whole people.
Looking Ahead
Wellbeing isn’t about being perfect—it’s about progress, awareness, and support. We’re proud of the culture we’re creating at Ambition: one where people can grow, connect, and take care of themselves in the process.
It’s not just about what we do—it’s how we do it. And that makes all the difference.
