Corporate Tax Manager

Corporate Tax Manager in a top 40 Accountancy Practice based in London! We are working closely with our client to further expand their increasingly growing corporation tax team who are looking for a Manager to manage a portfolio of clients from OMBs to Large Corporates and build relationship with them.

The firm takes pride in advocating a friendly and inviting work culture with a strong emphasis on work/life balance. Their London office is based within central London, close to the tube station, although work will be collaborative across their multiple offices.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients and understanding how to tackle tax issues related to their needs. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Providing tax planning to clients and assisting directors and partners to deliver this
  • Developing the wider team through the involvement of training, technical education, and soft skill development
  • Involvement in junior staff appraisals
  • Fee negotiations with clients
  • Contributing to the general management of the corporate tax team attending internal meetings across offices


Requirements

Candidates will need to be fully CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, with a minimum of 5 years' of corporate tax experience within an accountancy practice.

  • Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure smooth processes and organisation.
  • Show initiative when dealing with clients
  • Ability to build great client relationships
  • Share the company's focused ethics in accordance with client service
  • Show proactiveness in demand and growth for the team
  • Demonstrate strong technical ability and tax knowledge
  • Ideally proficient in AlphaTax - However training can be provided
  • Have experience dealing with complex groups
  • Extensive experience with a portfolio of clients and understanding how to manage this effectively
