Corporate Tax Assistant Manager in a ever-growing Accountancy Practice based in London! We are working closely with our client to further expand their increasingly growing tax team who are looking for an assistant manager to help work on deals advisory projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for working alongside the deals tax team advising clients on due-diligence projects, restructuring, debt refinancing, and other exciting areas of tax advisory.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working on delivering high quality work on a range of deals advisory projects
  • Acting as a contact for clients and both managing and fostering these relationships
  • Preparing tax computations for clients particularly cessation and post-cessation returns
  • Monitor junior staff performance and provide feedback
  • Working on technical research tasks when required

Requirements

Candidates will need to be fully ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent as well as fully CTA qualified although candidates with one or two exams remaining will be considered.

Additional requirements include:

  • Solid understanding of deals tax and advisory work including potential tax issues which clients may face
  • Demonstrate the ability to solve tax problems
  • Show confidence in dealing with clients
  • Experience in reviewing junior work and providing feedback as well as on-the-job training
