Senior Insolvency Manager

We've been instructed to assist one of the leading UK accountancy practices operating in mid-market insolvency on a new Senior Manager requirement. This role will involve you overseeing a sizeable insolvency team with a couple of direct Manager reports plus heavy daily interaction with the Partner group.

The department work mostly on corporate case appointments and so you will have oversight on the team's day to day management of these cases while also setting case strategy and ensuring all work is managed on time, on budget and in a compliant manner.

The work has consistently been coming through into the team all year and a big part of your remit will be to ensure that you have the resource in place to facilitate the ever increasing caseloads. Recruitment and development of staff will form a big part of your role as will supporting the Partner group with pitching for new appointments and pushing the brand out in the market at various networking events.

This is a senior role in the insolvency department and there is genuine scope to become an appointment taker and eventual Partner in the firm. You will need to be strategic, highly motivated and a positive individual that has the ability to not just manage people with experience but also the skills and patience to support your Managers with the upskilling of new recruits with no experience.

To be considered, you must have extensive corporate case management skills, have worked on complex and technically challenging appointments, be a leader of people and have skills that lend itself to being market facing with potential new and existing clients.

JIEB and/or ACA/ACCA qualifications are highly desired.
