Senior Business Development Executive

A leading innovative forward thinking international law firm are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join their IP and IT team on a permanent basis. The role reports into the Business Development Manager and will play a vital part in implementing and developing the BD plans and initiatives. Within the role you will work with a range of high profile and interesting clients and would be a great opportunity for a Senior BDE looking for a fresh challenge!

The role will allow you to work with partners and associates across the firm as a whole and is important for building on client development and raising the profile for BD activities.

As the successful Senior Business Development Executive you will be involved in:

• Supporting the BDM in developing and implementing business plans and strategic activity which you will monitor
• Seek out new business opportunities, draft pitch documents and credential statements
• Making strategic decisions and report on key wins etc
• Carrying out research to support business planning/BD initiatives
• Taking ownership of BD budgets and prepare analysis
• Attending client networking events for the business group alongside fee earners and engaging clients proactively
• Help develop and manage internal communications to ensure that there is good understanding of BD activities for the business group

The ideal candidate will have previous business development experience within professional services!
