Senior Bookkeeper

Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper
Location: North London
Salary: Up to £40,000 + package

My client, a highly ranked firm that are know for their work with HNWI's and their respective companies, are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper. The firm is forward thinking approach to both clients and staff and offers a supportive and progressive working environment to help their Accountants develop. This position offers flexible working hours and the ability to work out of both offices and attend client sites if required.

Responsibilities for this role include:

- Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, offering bookkeeping services
-Assisting clients with management accounts, journals, reconciliations, VAT returns and generating records up to trial balance
- Assisting and training on Xero and other MTD compliant software.

Requirements for this role include:

- Excellent knowledge of VAT including processing VAT Returns, thresholds and flat rate scheme
- Good knowledge of QuickBooks and other MTD compliant/bridging software an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel essential
