Restructuring Director/AD - Birm/Manc

Ambition are working with one of their more established clients who are having a bit of a recruitment drive at the moment, given the anticipated work activity. The restructuring divison are looking an Associate Director and Director to join one of their regional offices outside of London i.e. Manchester/Leeds/Birmingham/Bristol.

Given the work flow, the engagements will be geared slightly more towards insolvency but you would also be doing advisory assignments including cash flow forecasting, contingency planning, options and more. If you have experience of Independent Business Reviews (IBRs), that is advantageous but not essential. The insolvency work includes Administrations, including Trading, pre-packs, Liquidations and Voluntary Arrangements.

As a Restructuring Director or Associate Director you'll be working on a mix of larger and smaller engagements, which will keep your work challenging and offer you the opportunity to progress. As a Restructuring Director, you'd be expected to proactively network and win work as part of your role. For either of these roles, you'd be leading and managing various projects, training and handling career development for more junior staff and deputise for Partners. Some of the projects handled by the business are very high calibre, and won based on their ability to remain confidential for clients and genuniely having a strong reputation. Over the next period, the business are looking to increase headcount in this area by 20% and there are a number of "success stories" with employees rising through the ranks to seniority.

Culturally, a strong firm, they are inclusive, consistently offering incentives, staff are supportive and the Partnership are visible and take the time to know their colleagues.

On top of having the insolvency/restructuring experience expected at the Associate Director or Director grade, you need to be a qualified accountant. An insolvency qualification is desirable but not essential.
