Restructuring & Insolvency Director - Cayman Islands

One of the global leaders in providing restructuring and forensic advisory services is looking to recruit an Insolvency Director into their Cayman office. The purpose of the role will be to lead the local team, deliver and lead on restructuring assignments and cross-border insolvencies while actively maintaining and building the firm's client network to ensure continual growth.

As the Restructuring Director and co-lead of this Cayman office, you will take formal insolvency appointments as official liquidator and will direct the team to successful manage each engagement. The work is varied and will include liquidations, receiverships, bankruptcies, valuation work and forensic accounting assignments. You will also lead on several high profile and cross-border assignments covering US, APAC and local jurisdictions.

To be considered for the role, you must be a qualified accountant or be a holder of a recognised insolvency practitioner's licence and have at least been working in the restructuring and insolvency profession for over 10-12 years. If you have worked overseas and/or specifically in the offshore region before then this will be an advantage but certainly not essential.

The market in Cayman is getting busier all the time and this opportunity will provide you with the chance to work on high profile restructuring mandates in a leadership role for a firm with serious growth plans.

Financially, this move will be highly lucrative and professionally you will be able to accelerate your career based on the level of leadership responsibility, office management and client interaction available.

The client will take care of your visa and help towards your relocation if you are applying from outside Cayman.
