Pricing & commercial Finance Analyst

Ambition is representing a Magic Circle Law Firm who are currently looking for a driven Pricing and Commercial Finance Analyst to join their Finance team. As a Pricing and Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be a trusted advisor to the partners and the firm's key clients with the principle objective of optimising profitability. The Pricing and Commercial Finance Analyst role is based in their stunning London office, where you will be working in a collaborative environment to deliver and maintain their reputation for excellence. As the Pricing and Commercial Finance Analyst some of your responsibilities include:

• Assist with pricing initiatives to improve profitability considering long and short- term impacts
• Able to create financial models specific to a rate negotiation and translate outcomes in a concise manner
• Assist relationship partners with rate negotiations for the firm's major and strategic clients
• Work collaboratively with partners, the Fee Management Committee, Finance and Business Development Managers
• Recognising impact of financial advice for the global financial and non-financial network
• Management of client relationships
• Provide financial support for internal and external client meetings
• Ensure IT systems reflect agreed engagement terms
• Establish good working relationships with external clients to facilitate the resolution of any issues that may arise
• Assist with sharing of best practices amongst financial and non-financial colleagues
• Be a point of reference for Business Development and other Finance team in relation to rates, profitability and reporting best practice
• Analyse the data set, providing relevant commentaries and conclusions
• Responsible for the Finance Intranet Site
• Able to understand and apply capabilities of the in-house IT system to guide financial advice

To be successful in this Pricing and Commercial Finance Analyst position, some of the requirements include:

• Qualified or PQ Accountant desirable
• A good understanding of economic factors

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to delegate effectively
