Job Title: Mixed Tax Advisory Manager
Location: Surrey
Package: Up to £70,000 + benefits

Despite these difficult times one of my clients are looking to bolster their Tax presence in Surrey with a Tax Advisory Manager/Senior Manager. This role will give the suitable candidate a opportunity to handle a pure Advisory caseload, both Corporate and Personal Tax, and develop a well established and successful team. They're looking for highly skilled entrepreneurial individuals to join the team to assist the firm in achieving it's strategic goal.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Responsible for tax planning and advisory work for a portfolio of clients
• Identifying opportunities and working with the clients
• Dealing with ad-hoc queries from the General Practice partners and the Tax Compliance teams
• Assisting the Tax Partners with the implementation of projects
• Assisting the Tax Partners with ad-hoc advisory work
• ATED advisory and compliance work
• Dealing with tax enquiries
• Conducting technical research

Requirements for this role include:

• 2-5 years' post-qualification tax experience
• ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA with tax experience
• Experience in a small or mid-tier accountancy practice with exposure to owner managed businesses
• Tax advisory/project experience
• Experience of researching technical issues and preparing technical reports
• Broad and general tax knowledge of all aspects of direct taxes
