M&A Manager, Special Situations

Ambition are recruiting for a bespoke role, based in Central London, with a global consultancy. They are growing one of their key areas within Mergers & Acquisitions, specifically Special Situations.

This organisation is busy and have scope to introduce a Manager into this Special Situations team. This team alone are, on average, closing up to 50 deals per year and will allow you to continually develop your M&A expertise. You will be focusing on mid-market transactions for distressed businesses across a variety of sectors.

It will be standard for you to be working on high profile transactions, so your daily duties would include:

• Leading M&A transactions from origination to execution
• Managing junior colleagues and guiding them through the M&A process
• Build complex financial models
• Liaise with clients to analyse and understand their financial information to clarify risks and opportunities.

You need to be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) based on the nature of the role. The role would be suitable for an individual in a Lead Advisory background, who is ready to try something different and dive into a fast-growing team.
