Internationally recognised, US Law firm based in London, looking to hire into their finance team an experience Legal Biller. With 50 strong fee earners in London and an impressive catalogue of work, this would be an amazing opportunity to join a dynamic firm and a friendly finance team.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the entire billing process including: sending out monthly pre-bills to Partners; Ensuring all time edits and changes are made on bills; Producing bills accurately and in accordance with Client billing guidelines;
  • Maintains e-billing systems - Collaborati, Serengeti, Counsel Link;
  • Enters bills on e-billing systems in line with client guidelines;
  • Responsible for producing aged debtors reports;
  • Responsible for managing all WIP - attends WIP meetings with Partners and Senior Legal cashier to ensure prompt billing
  • Responsible for revaluing time where necessary;
  • Produces all write off forms for approval and processing on lawman;
  • Sends write offs to US as necessary;
  • Maintains manual bill spreadsheet in excel;
  • Responsible for sending out all bills to clients;
  • Ensures rate tables are up to date and attributed to matter accordingly;
  • Produces and sends credit notes as necessary;
  • Responsible for liaising with the US Billing team regarding US pre-bills;
  • Maintains current matters list;
  • Responsible for filing of all bills/credit notes;
  • Produces internal bills sent from the US;
  • Responsible for posting receipts of Internal Bills and maintaining folder accordingly;
